Earlier this summer, we began working with caravan and motorhome exhibition leaders, NCC Events. NCC, or the National Caravan Council currently host the Camping & Caravan Show, and the Motorhome & Caravan Show, two of the most anticipated shows in the UK.
Tasked with developing a strong campaign that engaged new and old visitors, here’s how our creative process developed from start to finish.
At the beginning of the process, we all agreed that caravanning and camping is all about escaping to the great outdoors, exploring the wondrous British landscape and getting to grips with nature. We wanted to inspire people to get into their caravan or to dig out their tent and see more of the UK. With this in mind, the line ‘be inspired here’ soon followed and became the focus of the campaign.
As part of the campaign, we developed the event’s branding to reflect the new-found ethos of ‘be inspired here’. By introducing strong photography, we were able to introduce new dimensions to the event’s campaign and its promotional activities. From national press send-outs to email marketing and an updated website, this new-look spread right across the brand and its campaign.
