Join us as we take a closer look at a mix of our favourite and stand-out industry work launched last month in our latest Good Stuff Round-up…

Apple Watch showcases the gadget’s life-saving ability in a chilling ad

Apple is known for creating adverts and campaigns that leave a lasting impact, notably with an uplifting musical beat, vibrant colours, and innovative design.

However, its latest advert leaves us with the chills as it focuses on the life-saving capabilities of the Apple Watch. Marking the launch of the new series, the advert uses three real audio recordings of 911 emergency phone calls made from the Apple Watch.

Following the stories of a woman who had a car accident, a farmer who fell 21-feet from a ladder, and a paddleboarder who drifted out to sea, the ad demonstrates how wearing the Apple Watch can save your life.

The advert concludes with the messaging, “With the help of their watch, Jason, Jim, and Amanda were rescued in minutes.”

We can’t applaud Apple enough for this incredible advert, the future of health really is on your wrist.

TikTok trainspotter becomes the face of the latest Gucci and North Face campaign

Gucci and North Face have recently unveiled the second chapter of the Gucci x North Face collaboration and have enlisted TikTok star, Francis Bourgeois to feature in the vintage advert.

Having risen to TikTok fame during the pandemic for his unadulterated and infectious love for locomotives, Francis Bourgeois now has an impressive 2.2 million followers and travels up and down the country to pursue his trainspotting hobby.

Known for his eccentricity and love of trainspotting, Francis was the perfect person to star in the Full Steam Ahead campaign. The TikTok trainspotter is taken on a train journey through the picturesque Alps wearing The North Face x Gucci collection.

Gucci and North Face are certainly aware of their demographic. By jumping on the latest trends, they have effectively created a memorable, heart-warming and fashionable advertisement.

Greenpeace live streams penguin colonies in the Antarctic

Greenpeace installed an interactive portal broadcasting live to the Antarctic to raise awareness for its ‘Protect the Oceans’ campaign.

The aim of the campaign is to educate others on the incredible purposes of our oceans, from harbouring wildlife and providing food for everyone across the world. To keep the oceans healthy, Greenpeace is fighting for a global network of ocean sanctuaries to protect them from overfishing, oil drilling and plastic pollution.

The installation of an Antarctic portal, located in Trafalgar Square, gave passers-by the opportunity to watch live streams from penguin colonies and float on the ocean to showcase the wonderful wilderness of the Antarctic.

This is such an innovative marketing move from Greenpeace to promote their campaign. The powerful message is definitely an eye-opener and we hope to see a change come into force soon.

Disney+ brings TV and film favourites to life in its latest creative advert

Disney+ highlights the power of great TV and imagination with its ‘House of Disney+’ advert by Leo Burnett.

The advert takes us into different apartments in a Disney+ block where each occupant is living out the dramas of different TV shows and film classics.

Featuring Toy Story, The King’s Man, The Simpsons, The Kardashians, and The Walking Dead – the campaign aims to showcase the wide variety of content available on the platform, assuring consumers that anyone can enjoy the content.

Nothing beats the feeling of being immersed in your favourite shows and Disney+ has really let its imagination run wild with this campaign – we love it.
